I want say it didn't hurt getting it put in, but it wasn't nearly as bad as people have said it would be. To me to worst part was actually being held open NOT getting it inserted. I squeezed my moms hand waiting to the real pain to start and it never came. The entire experience felt exactly like a bad day on my period. The doctor even said that I did really well (for being 18) and that teens are actually less likely to scream like her adult patients. There was a little blood but she said that was normal but to come back if it got worse than my normal.
I was getting a little warm on the way home and took some Ibuprofen and laid back watching TV as soon as we got in. Everything seems to be okay. Just another day feeling like
I'll keep this updated as much as I can. Follow up APT to make sure everything is okay in on June 13th!
